Can anyone tell me what intersection this is near? Does that street sign in the back say Elm? Thanks
That is correct. The racers are approaching Monroe street which is the bottom of the hill.Bob Dorcy

I remember this. It was a great happening in the summer time and kids dreamed of having their own racer.
I remember my friend, Ricky Bobby. He was an amazing roadster. He won a lot when he got older. I haven’t heard from him in a while. Class of 1989.
