I never understood why the Post Office moved out of this wonderful building for that place on Main Street. After they left the PARC took over and used it as a sheltered workshop. Not sure what is there now.
Good spoof! Lezcano was a major league pitcher, not a snack stand operator in the post office. I remember a stand run by a blind man in the court house, but not the post office.

Does anyone remember a blind man who had a small area on the main floor where he sold candy and newspapers? Does anyone know his name?

Lloyd Thompson was his name. A wonderful man. Married a lady from our church (First Baptist) in the 1950s.
