Anyone who attended "The Rock" has lots of memories. I was a commuter in the mid 60's. I remember listening to the news of President Kennedy's assassination around a car radio in the Old Main parking lot. Mark Shiring, a former BHS Guidance Counselor was on staff at SR and offered help and advice to students from Butler.
During WWII, servicemen were stationed here. I was talking to a 94yr old gentleman that was there. Gary Gambrell was his name. He remembered how kind the people were and the ladies good cooking !!!
I started here in 1961 as a commuter from Butler and graduated in 1965. Always a card game downstairs in the commuter's lounge and a coffee machine in the lounging area. Many fun times commuting with 5-6 other Butler fellows. Al Harmon, former Butlerite.

'73 grad here. So many wonderful memories, and most important, meeting my wife of 41 years!
