45 years ago this week! This team worked out twice a day...in the mornings before class and after school, which may have been the first time a team ever did that at Butler High. Those were the days; if I'm not mistaken, the team ultimately produced four All-Americans, but I can't name them.
Wow, I know some of these names. Joe O'Brien, Dave Haas, James Zambroski ... all these years later, I'm proud!
