We went to Erie yesterday and located the former Eastland Diner from Butler. It is now at the entrance to Presque Isle in Erie. It is on display, and walked inside to take pictures

Wasn't there two Diners in Butler? Of course Morgan's on Washington street at Jefferson, but wasn't there one in the area where Jefferson and Cunningham meet?

Vin-Mar's was on Cunningham St. across from Klugh's grocery store. This is just west of where Cunningham and Jefferson St. intersect.

Thank you my friend, now I remember Vin Mar. Mom and Dad used to take us there once in awhile on a Sunday. They served great stuffed pork chops and that's what I'd order.

When Bill Morgan owned Eastland Diner it was a clean restaurant where you always got good tasting food and good service. Hope it is just as good in Presque Isle.

Right now the restaurant is a museum. If you click on the words "we walked inside to take pictures", you can see the inside of the building. My husband talked to one of the waitresses in the building adjoining this one. She said they hope one day to serve food in the restaurant.
