  1. The descending staircases to the locker rooms are gone now, and the locker rooms are in a new location.

  2. I remember when I was in Jr. High
back in 73-74, and they would set
up a big trampoline for us to use
once in awhile. No safety netting, just a plain old-fashioned trampoline! It's a wonder we didn't break our necks.
It was so much fun, though! Nobody ever got hurt in our class.
Sometimes I think all these precautions are a bit much. Although, now I wouldn't want my son on a trampoline without a net!

    1. I remember doing that. Gym teachers were Mrs Benjamin and Mes Buter. ( who was really Nice) and there was another one also. I can picture her. But can't remember her name.

  5. I remember playing B-ball in Junior High during 70-71 and you couldn't take a corner shot or it would get blocked. Get blocked by the overhang. Great memories....Rudy Corona was the gym teacher....

  7. I was there in the early to mid 60s and remember the bleachers as being at floor level on 1 or maybe both walls and none on the balcony.

Is that correct at least in part?

Thanks to anyone who can clarify my memory.

  8. Does anyone remember the numbers on the floor? I can remember that we had to line up on the numbers, but I can't remember if that was for attendance purposes or for counting off to be on a team. Anyone out there who can remember, please fill in the information.

  12. I was there for only one year - 9th grade. What I remember most of all was having to wear those off pink colored gym outfits and doing excercises to some song about chicken fat. YUK. But still had a great time.

  13. OMG I still go here the school is the best but I hate playing bball here. It's really hard to get the ball in When the other team is full court pressing you. But I love watching the boys games from the balcony. You can see everything at once. I <3 BJHS
