Diamond Square ~ War Memorial
The most unusual memorial on the Diamond is the black-granite World War II Memorial. A map of the world, identifying countries involved in the war, is surrounded by a curving wall, made of sacks resembling a field-made bunker and topped by eagles.
The park needs to be redesigned with the WWWII monument being moved to the very back of the park. It is in too small of a space for its size. Diamond Park looks horrible. It is a hodgepodge of monuments and concrete surfaces. There needs to be some sort of symmetry to where things are placed.

It is sadly, way too big. Diamond Park has been taken over by monuments - no longer much room to enjoy the park itself

fountain needs maintained better too. Often there are dead birds floating in it. Kinda gross!
I think all those monuments have cluttered up the square. Everything is off balance now.
