I heard there was interest in this home as a bed & breakfast but the family does not want to sell at this time. I can't think the neighborhood would be happy for a B&B in the area. It is one of Butler's most beautiful neighborhoods.
I remember those horse stables. My friend,(who lived at the end of Belmont), and I used to walk back there and pet the Shetland ponies that were in the stables. That would have been around 1969 or so.
You should see the new ones out by the Country Club!

ReplyDeleteBed and Breakfast? The neighbors should be in a state of revolt. I see the house down the road from Thompson's is up for sale.
ReplyDeleteThompsons - what a lovely home and family. The had a horse stables and track behind the house, don't know if it's still there.
