My mom worked at the reception desk at the Willlard Hotel in the late 1940s . I recall her telling us about the well known entertainers who stayed there when they entertained the disabled veterans at the Deshon Hospital. My aunt's wedding reception was also at this hotel in 1949. I remember it well., I was 11 years old . It was a different era then.
Have forgotten what year this was taken down. Seems "forever ago". Born in "BHS", circa "1960".
