Butler mourns the passing of Carl Yankowski : an excellent businessman who over his thirty–year career worked for such well–known brands as Proctor & Gamble, Memorex, PepsiCo, General Electric, Cadbury Schweppes, Polaroid, and Sony. I believe that Carl was instrumental in the development of the "Is it live or is it Memorex?" advertising. I knew him from Junior High School band where he played the saxophone. He graduated from Butler High School in 1966.
