I did a performance there once that my family called "one for the ages". I was great.

I think it was in the 1970s when my mother's employer would make available a few tickets to employees on a first-come basis. The local actors were good entertainment, the stage was small, and the seating arrangement very tight. During one of the plays, a woman sitting next to us began to eat a foul-smelling sandwich she pulled out from her purse. The smell was so disgusting, we never returned to this theatre. Then we found the Saxonburg Summer Theatre (no longer operating). Plays there were fantastic and at the midway intermission we enjoyed outdoor refreshments. Great location in a local barn before moving to Concordia.
