By golly, I think you're right...the water tower would be to the right of the road in the picture; the stone entrance almost across from Belmont Road.
Calvary Cemetery is the last connection I have to Butler, what with so many family members, including my dad, grandparents and a couple of aunts buried there. The history of Butler families is best found to the left of the picture, in the front section, along Rt 8/Main Street hill.

I think I recognize the view, just off Rt. 8 at the top of the hill. Déjà-vu.

When I come back to Butler I always go to the graveyard to visit the family graves. I remember the funerals too.
