Keeping up with past and present happenings in a remarkable small town.
I see "PUMP' enjoying a hot dog
In '58-'59 I worked at Dillon's Meat Market just up Jefferson St.I always looked forward to lunch at the HDS on Saturday. Loved their chill and berry pie (as well as everything else.) As longas the Hot Dog shop was there I could always take a trip back to the past. Too bad it is gone.
What a great picture! My granddaddy and I always sat on the right, where those two guys in the gray shirts are. He always let me have chocolate milk and a chocolate donut while he drank coffee and smoked a Lucky Strike. He died of lung cancer and I'm overweight; those were the days...
