I was 4 when this happened and I still remember Grandpa carrying me off the front porch through the water to the car. Grandma and Grandpa's house was right beside the creek that ran, I think, down by where the Red Barn used to be.
I remember the flood-we lived on 4th Avenue--my Dad went from house to house pumping out basements.
