The interior is priceless with all the marble. Even the water fountain (at the center of the rear wall) is made of marble. This puts modern courthouses to shame. I wonder what the replacement cost would be?
Not sure where or what section of the court house, but my Dad, John Gumpper, actually "painted" a few of the walls to match the already existing marble. If you saw it, you may not be able to tell the difference!
