I agree. There are many artistic people in Butler. I remember the town people pulling together to give the graduating seniors an afterprom party on the school grounds. People with art ability would transform the cafeteria into the loveliest and memorable nights with crepe paper, sketches of distant cities etc.---and quite often they didn't have any children in the graduating class but wanted to contribute. Oh, we were so fortunate!!!
I believe the same artist who painted this Jefferson Street mural has been commissioned to paint another one on the corner of South Main St and West New Castle St. Will be on the side of what used to be Smith's Flower Shop.

The artist did a good job. Butler is fortunate to have talented individuals to come up with good ideas and then follow through.
