Funny after seeing this picture all I can remember is an unusual smell of that partictular store.
Remember it well 50 yrs. ago, they had a small restaurant in it, several of us would go there for lunch, I enjoyed the potatoe salad they served.
loved this place; the perfume counter; all the stuff in it.
Whitey Ford was given his meals here free of charge by Vern Hilliard. Also, Don Knotts used stop here to eat on his way from New York to his hometown of Morgantown WV
