Keeping up with past and present happenings in a remarkable small town.
When I lived in Butler this was always a nice place to go.
In the 50's,the YWCA had Jukebox on Friday nights and afterwards, lots of the kids would walk up to Main Street and gather at Cummings for ice cream sodas made with their own ice cream. We had a good time and the Cummings were very hospitable!! Thanks for the memories.
My mother said they had the best peanut clusters!!!
I remember that one of my favorites was a tin roof sundae.
That was the "go to" place after school. Loved the cherry coke & potato chips.
