During my 4 years at Butler High, I would walk over to see my dad and then to the top of the hill and home. So sad to see that wonderful building gone. The new one will take a slightly different route. It will be slightly south of the old one, eliminating the bend at the Center Ave side. Construction is continuing on the new supports. A new viaduct will be built next year and some buildings have been demolished in the process. There will be 4 more buildings taken down later.
