I loved him... as I worked for Alan Imhoff Advertising and later for the mushroom farm I would spend any time I could at his place as I was ordering or picking up signs just sitting and talking with him and listening to his words of wisdom...feeling so very welcome..margo yoder

Ariel asked about a restaurant in Oak Hills. How about Baker's Inn located at Oak Hills Golf Course where BC3 is now. BC3 bought the golf course from Dick(?) Baker to start the college. Bill Douthett

I used to drive the van for ServiStar out in East Butler and would frequently stop by Bashline Signs on the West End to pick up signs for them. I always enjoyed talking with Jimmy and his brother and hearing their stories about how the circus would come to town by train, unload down at the siding by the feed store on E. Jefferson St., and parade all the way up Jefferson St. through town to the fairgrounds at the top of the hill where the High School now sits.

I use to deliver the Butler Eagle paper in the 60's on the West End & walk by Jimmy's shop, I can still see the image of the Red Skelton "Hobo/clown" painting on the wall.
