Richard Fudoli ~ Musician ~ BHS '54

Mitch playing at our cemetery.
"It's purely about the art. I'm not looking for recognition. It just seemed to me a nice place to play and close to my home," Fudoli said. "People know I'm up there for a reason. They hear it in the air. It's a gift, and I'm trying to give it back."

I see him all the time. He is one of those folks that show up in small towns and make them special.

I have never met him but have met numerous musicians from the Chicago area who really know music and his reputation as master musician is well known.

It's a pretty big cemetary. I don't think he stands on the shoulder of the road and plays!

I lived on the Belmont Road, (The Boulevard) and my children and I would always enjoy watching Mr. Fudoli in the neighborhood.
