Four-lane highway into a two-lane town. Now isn't that just great planning and use of tax dollars?

I road on the new viaduct and really liked it. Much less congestion now. However, there is a huge problem. The traffic downtown needs to be fixed...

love the new bridge but the lanes coming into town don't indicate the right turn until your almost there

This is a terrible construction. You can't continue up South Main Street hill past the old hospital with the new bridge, it only lets you continue on Route 8. It's a different kind of bad than the mess the state made in the late 60s when they stripped people of their land to build the original intersection. I know, because my family was one of them.

True that CS. I remember a black house that may have housed a tiny market that was on stilts! fascinated me then. It was one of the homes on Rt 8 so. that was razed to accomodate the new traffic pattern.

Main brige beams weren't painted and now their rusting already.

Probably the steel was imported from Red China. Ha Ha Tha's why it's rusting. Just like their dry wall and pet food.
